Jonnie emerged as a music entrepreneur after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from San Diego State University. He soon joined A&M/Tuff Break Records to help implement marketing plans for their roster. Jonnie moved next to Capitol Records' catalog department, as a marketing executive, and was instrumental in vastly successful campaigns for the Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, The Beach Boys, Tina Turner, Pink Floyd, and a host of others. Jonnie conceptualized and executive produced George Clinton's "Greatest Funkin' Hits" album. In another endeavor with Mr. Clinton, Jonnie hosted the first-ever, live webcast of a performance with George Clinton and Macromedia, blowing up Internet servers all over the globe.

Following this success, he was promoted to Director of A&R/New Business for EMI/Capitol Entertainment Properties, one of the youngest to hold this title in the company's history. After accomplishing much at EMI, Jonnie branched out and established the premier music supervision company for the video game industry, Forster Brothers Entertainment, with clients including EA Sports, Sony Computer Entertainment America, and Activision. Presently, Jonnie oversees the company's interests in diverse entertainment fields.

 

Evan Forster was selected into the training program at the Bauer / Benedek Talent Agency (now the powerhouse United Talent Agency, UTA) after graduating from the University of Southern California in 1987. In 1989, he joined A&M Records as the National Director of Strategic Marketing and gained recognition for helping to break Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation as well as Ce Ce Peniston's debut. Evan soon established Forster Bros. Entertainment Records as a subsidiarary of A&M Records. FBE received critical acclaim for its first two releases, "Tragedy," and "Dredd Scott." Both artists soared to #1 on Billboard. In 1996, Evan joined Universal and headed up the new Crossover Radio and Marketing department, breaking such acts The Lost Boyz, Heavy D, Rakim, and the multi-platinum, five time Grammy award winning debut album from Erykah Badu.

Evan was joined by two of his brothers, Darren and Jonnie Forster, and FBE soon had production deals with Warner Music, Reprise, Universal, and Artist Direct. In addition, Evan created a course at UCLA focusing on strategic marketing for music and film. He has lectured at UCLA, Pepperdine University, and USC for over seven years.

 

Darren Forster began his career in entertainment working for Pro Sports Management. While there, he helped guide and market the careers of athletes in all professional sports from Football to Tennis. Darren additionally produced special events ranging from charity to conventions. Soon after he began managing athletes internationally in Mexico, France, and Australia. Darren moved on to join his brothers at FBE as a music supervisor and artist manager. Darren later graduated from the Pepperdine University School of Law. In his time at FBE Darren has supervised music for feature films, countless video games, and soundtracks. Darren has overseen operations of all projects and promotions, along with the business/legal affairs for the company.
